Introduction to the RT990 chip
CATV adopts macro micro (RAFAEL) RT990 chip, built-in amplifier, can achieve the effect of traditional optical machine four-stage amplification, AGC range -15~-5dBm, received optical power range in -18~-2dBm, digital chip devices are few, small area, flexible layout, traditional analog CATV coil needs to be debugged, for factory production minus the debugging coil link, saving worker resources.
General Description
The RT990high-linearity analog RFtransimpedance amplifier (TIA) is intended for C-FTTH receiver. Extra operationamplifiers for power sensing and AGC control are needless due to DC amplifierand I2C_AGC control skill are built in RT990. The RT990provides 34dB dynamicgain control range for 17dB dynamic optical power range. The RT990can achievebest linearity and low noise figure with lowest power consumption by Rafael’spower saving sill. The RT990achieves both high performance and the lowest powerconsumption which perfectly compliant with the worldwide trend.
